We have fully documented project management workflows and make full use of our project management database along with a host of other tools to ensure a smooth, professional service. Our management and project management staff are native or near-native speakers of one of our target languages, and have a degree in linguistics, translation or IT. Many of them are trained translators which gives them a unique insight into how translation and translators work. We have a reputation within the translation community of being reliable, friendly and professional – that's why our clients keep on coming back, and our translators keep on wanting to work for us.
Project planning The project manager considers the resources necessary for carrying out the project, allocating the work to the most suitable translator(s) and reviser(s) according to their level of experience and availability. The Project Manager identifies the technical resources required for satisfactory completion of the project and makes sure these are available to the translator(s) and reviser(s). The Project Manager submits a quote to the client and confirms the work in writing.
Project realisation The project is carried out according to the procedures outlined in STP's internal project management procedures and translation workflows. The Project Manager oversees the project at every stage, ensuring that the translation is carried out according to the project specification and delivered on time.
Assessing performance The quality of the translation services delivered is monitored by an on-going assessment incorporating a quality assurance checklist which is completed for each project, annual client satisfaction questionnaires and the analysis and reporting of client complaints. Corrective action is taken where necessary, and the quality management system is reviewed annually to identify any flaws that might require a policy change.
